Last night the little kids decided to sleep out. So, we set them up with some sleeping pads and then Kory told them some stories to help nudge them towards sleep. I thought for sure they'd all come inside by midnight, but at 6:00 a.m. I peeked out the window and all three of them had made it through the night. They are tougher than I am. I was infamous in my neighborhood for waiting until everyone was asleep and sneaking back to my house and sleeping in my bed.
This morning the kids all did their chores/checklist. This is our first full week together this summer, so I finallly made them do all the usual summer chores. It's so cute to watch them practicing piano, reading scriptures, doing school workbooks, etc.
After lunch, we headed to the art museum. We looked at the exhibits and then the kids had a fun time in the Kid's Corner doing art projects.
After that, we went to the Museum of Idaho and checked out their exhibit on the Revolutionary War. And of course, the kids always love the permanent kid's exhibits which feature some pioneer era log cabins and tepees.
