This Week

Phoebe had her last game this week and I attempted to take some pictures and also found some online to download, so here they are. Caleb was busy this weekend doing origami and seeing Kung Fu Panda 3 with some friends from school. He also really enjoys scouts with camp outs and activities. He even caught a fish while ice fishing. Chloe took advantage of the snowstorm and made a snowman in the yard. He didn't last the night. Chloe is probably our biggest reader and Kory loved this moment and took a quick picture with his cell phone. Kory, me, Caleb, and Chloe tackled some much-needed cleaning projects this weekend, including the toy room. Sent a bunch of toys to DI and a bunch more to the garbage.

January Stuff

So, January is almost over. For some reason January is not a big picture month for me. We're all back to school/work. Phoebe had a birthday and had multiple celebrations, including dinner at Fuji. Her basketball season is wrapping up. They haven't won a single game, but she has learned a lot and says she wants to keep playing, so maybe we'll get a basketball camp in this summer. Caleb had his DARE graduation. It was fun to watch the class video and see the cool stunts that he did. :) Caleb got a new dummy for Christmas, one that is slightly less disturbing than Slappy from Goosebumps. Here he is showing him off to the Andersons. He's also really into Star Wars and Origami, thanks to the Star Wars movie and reading the book Origami Yoda. He carries one around in his pocket all of the time now. Caleb and Chloe have decided to be safety monitors at school. As far as we can tell, it consists of going to school early and holding the door open for people. I thi

It's a Wrap

Well, 2015, it was nice knowin' ya. We wrapped up our holiday break with a couple of fun things. We went to dinner with Kory's brothers and their wives. We ate at Fuji's and then had pie back at the house. Always fun to catch up with the family. On New Year's the kids were with their mom, so we just ate and went to a movie and were in bed pretty early. The next day we took off in the morning for Salt Lake. We had a late breakfast/lunch at The Blue Plate Diner, then we checked into our hotel. Kory watched some football and we sat in the hot tub.  That night we headed down to Temple Square to enjoy the lights. We had to make a run to Kneaders for a steamer and some soup. We visited both visitor's centers and had a good time. The crowds weren't bad at all.  The next morning, we ate breakfast at Kneaders (cinammon French toast, ,,,,,). Then we went to the Church History Museum and we really enjoyed the new exhibit on church history
