The month of June was pretty rainy, with a few sunny days thrown in. I didn’t mind, because that made it easier to be inside working. On June 7, the English Department had a retreat at Harriman State Park. Even though it was wet and cool, we still had a nice walk and things went pretty smoothly.  On that same day, Kory took the kids up to Victor to hang out with his dad for his birthday. They had fun 4-wheeling and taking Grandpa to lunch at O’Rourke’s. Maybe because it was so stormy all month, I kept coming home and finding Kory reading. He had randomly picked up a John Stockton biography for his dad’s birthday and decided to read it. He loved it. So, we took a trip to the library and stocked him up with a bunch of biographies of his favorite golfers and musicians. He has been reading like a demon ever since. I never thought I’d see the day!
