Fun Fall Weekend

This weekend has been crazy but fun. Isaac had his district cross country meet at Freeman Park. He ended up winning by a quite a distance. Luckily his whole team qualified to go as well, so it will be really fun for him at state this weekend in northern Idaho. Ellie was there and had her last race of the season and did great. So, the Andersons were there too! On Saturday, Caleb began his birthday celebration. He had a couple of friends over and he, Chloe, and Morgan had a party, They did musical chairs, a maze, and a treasure hunt. After opening presents and playing outside, we took them to Carl's Junior because it has a play place. After we dropped off the friends, we took the rest of the family who could make it to the pumpkin patch to pick out pumpkins, ride the train, and all the other festivities like the straw maze and corn maze. Today Caleb got ordained to the priesthood and we had the Primar

Brigham City

It felt about time for another one of our get-aways, so we headed to Brigham City after work on Friday. We got there, checked in to our hotel, and went to Maddox for dinner. We split a steak and shrimp, although Kory likes his steak bleeding, so in the end, I mostly ate the shrimp and he mostly ate the steak. We also loved the rolls and honeybutter, home-made ice cream and coconut cream pie. The next morning, we decided to visit the Brigham City temple. Kory forgot his clothes, and then I misread how often they did sessions, so we ended up doing initiatory, which was great. I got done before Kory, so I was sitting in the waiting room for about an hour, wondering where the heck he was. Finally, I got up and looked around the corner, and he had been sitting on a chair out there for about half an hour.   We went back to the hotel and had breakfast, then drove home through beautiful Cache Valley. Always brings back such great memories of Utah State days. We drove by No

Fall Stuff

Well, October is flying by. We started out with General Conference. We hung out at home on Saturday, listening to the sessions. That night, Kory took the boys to Priesthood Session--Caleb's first. Afterwards they ate at Freddys. Meanwhile, I took Chloe and Morgan to Sugar City to visit with  Dave, Kelley, and the kids. Kristi and some of her kids were there too. We ended up playing a few games like Apples to Apples and Old Maid. We stopped and ate at Dairy Queen. On Sunday, we went up to Victor for dinner in between sessions, and watched the afternoon session there. After a few four-wheeler rides, we headed home. The next weekend, we got to see Isaac run at Madison and take first place. Ellie has also been picking up speed and she placed in the top 20 for JV and got a medal. Mom and Dad were there too to see their grandkids run. Phoebe has been getting ready to try out for basketball, so for Family Night, we went and shot hoops at the high school. Our
