October 2020

  October 2020 On October 2, Kory started to get feverish and achy. As his symptoms lasted, we decided to get him tested for COVID. We ended up going to Madison Memorial in Rexburg for his test on October 4. He started quarantining and we did too, since we had been exposed. I started to get a cold on October 7 but after a few days lost my taste and smell, so I got tested for COVID on October 12. Both of us were positive for COVID. So, we had a long few weeks teaching from home and quarantining. Caleb and Chloe stayed home from school because we weren’t sure if they’d get it. They never seemed to show symptoms. It was a pretty mellow month with lots of books, puzzles, and movie nights as a family. Kory and I didn’t feel great, but we didn’t suffer some of the more severe symptoms others have. On October 24 we finally felt we were safe enough to see the kids, so we had fun hanging out with Austin, Leah, and the girls. That night we drove up to St. Anthony and had pizza at a new resta
