February 2020 We always join Kory’s brothers for a SuperBowl watching party and this year everyone was pretty excited because the Kansas City Chiefs were in the game. Kory grew up in Lawrence, about half an hour from Kansas City, and he is a loyal fan to all of the Kansas teams. So, there was A LOT of hype for this one. In fact, when they were trailing for a while, Kory went upstairs and played on his phone so that he wouldn’t jinx the team. Let’s just say there were some VERY happy people when they won. And the food was great. I never really watch the game, because…. I don’t really understand football. But I love visiting and eating. On February 4 th , we had Friend’s birthday party. That week I played the piano for a musical number with people from the English Department for the All-Employee meeting.
