We started out April with General Conference. Everyone was
anticipating some big announcements—aka getting rid of the Word of Wisdom,
girl’s going on missions at 18—but it was just normal, great gospel stuff. Kory
and I did not have the kids, so we were able to pay close attention to each of
the sessions. Kory took Caleb to the priesthood session and then we went to
Freddy’s to eat.
The kids were busy with track meets and practices in April. I took off to Norway for nine days, leaving Kory to hold down the fort. When I got back, the next semester started the next day and I dove back into teaching. On the 27-28, Kory and I went to a seminary teacher meeting in Jackson Hole. They had a dinner on Friday night and then workshops on Saturday. It was a fun, quick getaway.
On April 29th we took a bunch of the kids to Avengers Endgame. It’s not really Kory’s cup of tea, but everyone else enjoyed it. On the 30th, Morgan hosted Activity Days at our house. They were originally going to go ride scooters around the green belt, but it was too cold, so she led them in yoga and had healthy treats afterward.
