On the 14th, I went to Rexburg to get my hair done. Morgan chose to come with me, but she wasn't too fond of the smell in the salon.
But I knew she was pretty interested in all of the stuff going on in the salon. She got so close to the woman doing my hair I had to tell her to move back. Sure enough, as she was playing a few days later, she now was in the salon business, with nail polish displays and cash registers and the whole business. She makes me laugh.
That night, Kory and I spoke at a Girl's Camp. A friend of mine from high school asked me and Kory to speak. Their theme was The Happiest Place on Earth, with some Disney tie-ins, so I wrote my talk about What Not To Do According to Disney Princesses. It was kind of a fun night.
The next night, Kory spoke for our stake young men's high adventure group. They had just climbed Table Rock, and they were all exhausted, but Kory managed to keep their attention and teach them about the Stripling Warriors.
This week has been up in the nineties every day, so we made a couple of trips to Rigby Lake to cool off. The kids had fun on the Duckie boat and making sand castles.
On July 20, Leah, Austin's wife, graduated from BYU-Idaho with her Bachelor's degree. I'm so proud of her. She is really an amazing person.
On the 21st, we went back to Rigby Lake. Kristi was there with a few of her kids, so they had fun playing with cousins.
On the 23rd, we decided to celebrate Kory's 53rd birthday, (it's really on the 26th) because the kids will be with their mom next week. We decided to check out Battle Zone, a new business that one of the kids cousins is starting in Idaho Falls. It's right next to I-Jump and its got inflatables and a Nerf Gun war place. It was fun because the kids cousins were running it,
After Battle Zone, we went to Stop Light pizza, which specializes in huge pizza. This one is spreading over three tables. Everyone got full and there were tons of leftovers too.

Kory won the men's trivia contest about Disney Princesses. He doesn't have five daughters for nothing. |
