Only five days until class ends, but I think I'm already on vacation in my head. Not a good thing. So, this weekend, I played pretty hard, which was fun. Friday night, I took some of Kristi's kids to the drive-in to watch Monsters University. This was a first for them. We spread out sleeping pads, sleeping bags, and pillows in the back of Dad's pick-up and I rigged up the stereo so we would have sound. Of course, everyone but Ellie was asleep before the end, they were more interested in the treats I brought than the movie, but hey.....it's not really about seeing the movie, right. In fact, Ainsley looked up and said, "Look at how bright the stars are," and we enjoyed the stars for a few minutes. We left before the second show--"Lone Ranger"--because I definitely cannot stay awake that late. Saturday morning, Joelle and I loaded up some kayaks and headed to Mack's Inn to float down the river.
