We got up early to go up the Empire State Building, but the ushers there said there was zero visibility at the top, so we bagged it. We headed to the Brooklyn Bridge and walked across. It was nice--a really cloudy day, but warm.
After the bridge we went to the Tenement Museum which was a nice view of the lives of immigrants to New York.
I think I might have gone home after that, because I don't have any pictures of anything and I'm drawing a blank. My feet were KILLING me...pretty much just all blistered up.
That night we went to You Can't Take It With You featuring James Earl Jones. There were lots of people in it with TV and movie careers. I think it was early in the run, so they didn't have all the timing down, but again, it was fun to see such talented actors. That is a play without a super compelling plot, but they played with it and made it so fun.
