Life Goes On

Time for an update I think. First of all, I've ben stricken with a weird affliction. The week of my birthday, March 13 I started having severe joint pain in pretty much every joint in my body. I wasn't sleeping, I could hardly walk, I just kind of hobbled around. Kory and I were pretty freaked out. I have never had anything like this happen before. I went to the doctor and he gave me some medicine that didn't even touch the pain, so I went on some steroids a few days later and it nipped it in the bud. So, I still have some twinges in my hands and feet and will probably try to see a specialist when my schedule calms down. The doctor did some blood work but it was inconclusive. He said it could be a virus, polymyalgia, or arthritis. It could also be just a reaction to a huge amount of stress and a big old life change. Who knows. For my birthday, Kory and Maddie and I went to dinner at Red Robin and then Kory and I went to Heise Hot Springs and soaked--made my joints feel go...

Some Wedding Snapshots

Life As We Know It

Well, time for an update, now that I've been married about a month. We had very little time to lollygag, because I needed to move and sell my house a week after the wedding. We had lots of help from family, friends, and ward members to accomplish this gargantuan task. Of course, getting the stuff moved here was just half the battle. The next task is finding places to put things!! Of course the kids had fun rummaging through the boxes....lots of new things to dress up in and play with. They will probably be bummed when it's all put away. One night we came home and they had set up a little date night for us, with instructions. One of which was, "No Cell Phones." So cute. We've just been busy doing normal stuff. Homework with the kids, mutual, scouts, visiting family. I told Kory it seems like we've always been married. Kind of weird how that works. Definitely feel like a lucky woman.
