January School got back into swing. District 91 decided to have all the kids back for the four-day a week schedule instead of the staggered schedule with only half the kids there are a time. This was better for Chloe in that she had more friends there, but also meant that she had to get up every day and get ready, which was hard to adjust to. We had a little family party for Phoebe’s 20 th birthday. Her main present was spending a few days in California with her roommate, Carlie. We had cake and ice cream and enjoyed hanging out. January is always a little mellow with the post-Christmas, back-to-school blahs. Kory really put his new puzzle table to good use. Chloe started trying out cooking some different desserts.
