Artitorium

One of the challenges of the long Idaho winter is what to do with the kids that is a little more active. Yesterday, Kory and I took Caleb and Chloe to the Artitorium on Broadway and they had a blast. Admission is all-day, so you can go in and out if you need to. We played for a few hours in the morning and went back in the afternoon. They have a green screen, a stop motion movie studio, musical instruments, a slide, tons of computers with art programs on them, paper and materials to draw and create. The kids loved it and we will definitely go back.

Chloe and Her Bear

Chloe got a giant bear for Christmas and it's funny what a great companion he is.

Let's Go Phoebe, Let's Go

Phoebe decided to try cheer this year and she is really enjoying it. She was named co-captain with another girl and they will cheer throughout basketball season and be done. Here are a few shots of her.

Happy New Year

For New Year's Eve we sort of went our own ways. The older kids went to their Andrus cousin's party. Kory and I took Chloe and Caleb to the Gee party at Shawn and Amy's. We had a good time eating, visiting, and playing charades with our i-phones. Chloe decided to stay overnight with the Gee cousins and they had a fun time. On every hour they popped a balloon and there was a piece of paper telling them what activity to do. Way to go Amy for planning and carrying out all those parties. Kory and I headed home with Caleb around 10:00 or so. We watched some Jim Gaffigan on Netflix and then put Caleb to bed when he fell asleep. At New Year's we toasted in our room. Some of the older kids came home shortly after, but we went to bed. Happy New Year!
