Fall is In the Air

Phoebe and Chloe were messing around in the leaves today.

Caleb's Birthday Celebration

Last Saturday we started the day by cleaning the church. Later we celebrated Caleb's birthday by going to the pumpkin patch and then to the Pizza Pie Cafe. But first we opened his presents, which mostly consisted of Legos. Lat On Sunday, we enjoyed the beautiful fall weather by taking a stroll around the green belt.

Conference Weekend

Here are some random shots from conference weekend. For some reason this entertained the kids for a few hours. Then they found the sidewalk chalk. The next week was International Walk to School Day, so I started out with just Chloe and ended up with this bunch. I felt like Rocky Balboa for a second. We barely made it in time, but it was very invigorating. Last week we took a little overnight getaway and then took a drive from Ashton to Driggs. Love that drive. the lighting wasn't working with the camera, so we couldn't get a good shot of the scenery, but it was incredible. Track season is winding down. Isaac has been doing great. This is him with his team before the meet yesterday.

Update

Well, where did September go? I got back from my trip and things have just been flying by ever since. We've had track meets for Phoebe and Isaac--both of them doing well, Isaac usually medals at his meets. Our missionary, Madi, came home for medical reasons, so we've been doing lots of things to get her settled in and back into a routine. On top of that, we have lots of randomness that makes life an adventure--someone used my credit card number in Florida, so I had to get my card cancelled and etc. We're still remodeling, so we've had carpet layers and painters. I am home on sabbatical, so I sit in my office reading all day and I'm slowly going insane. And yesterday we found out our granddaughter and two daughters have head lice. Wahooo! Operation Head Lice So, really, never a dull moment around here.
